Colpopexy

With both Drs. Alexis May and David Kimble as your surgeons, you can expect a safe and effective surgical experience and recovery from your pelvic organ prolapse repair. At the time of consultation, Drs. Kimble will determine if you would benefit from a colpopexy alone or combined with other prolapse repair procedures. During a colpopexy, the doctors will reinstate vaginal support by using either a synthetic graft or your own tissue to suspend the vaginal vault. 100% of colpopexies performed by Drs. Kimble are minimally invasive, with 50% done vaginally as an outpatient procedure and 50% performed robot-assisted laparoscopy with a brief overnight hospital stay.
